Situated on Kawehnóhkwes tsi kawè:note (meaning Long Island Standing, the Mohawk name of Wolfe Island), the Wolfe Island Network for a Healthy Community (WIN) brings together local community organizations and municipal agencies/organizations operating in the Township of Frontenac Islands, the City of Kingston and the County of Frontenac to actively pursue their common goal of promoting the health and well-being of Island residents. The WIN plans and implements jointly sponsored projects focused on Islanders’ health needs.
